From concept to completion:
Championed the creation and administration of a MySQL/PHP/Java-driven webcasting service that allows clients to remotely access live video streams of 3-cell focus groups, as well as interact with on-site coordinators and other clients via a chatroom. Art Direction:
- Directed brainstorming meetings on potential features and design
- Budgeted project, getting bids from 3rd party vendors as well as assigning necessary in-house development and testing time
- Oversaw design of look and feel for all elements
Design / Illustration:
- Facilitated the splicing of all elements into HTML-compatible pieces
- Optimized design to take advantage of web-specific challenges
Coding:
- Installed, tested, and integrated Windows Media Player streaming content applications on internal servers
- Implemented coding of streams into webpages
- Developed application for uploading content from off-site focus groups (service is offered nationally to simulate specific litiation venues) through internal firewall, processing internally, and delivering back out to offsite clientele
- Responsible for updates to the site post-launch
Production Management:
- Oversaw all production and testing of site
- Oversaw all purchasing and installation of 3rd-party software (chat room, Windows Media Player server-side application)
- Continue to act as web administrator post launch
